Silver Hardware Shows in the CabinetsElizabethI really like this piece. It is what I was looking for to put a 65 inch tv on. I am not sure how to hide the four corner square silver hardware pieces. Am I missing instructions and pieces? It is truly a great piece, but with the hardware showing it does look very cheap. I am not sure how to fix this covering up these four top corners. I was thinking use white tape to cover the silver hardware or maybe poster board and cutting it just right. I am really good at putting together flat furniture, so I am baffled by this...a first for me.4

Just what I neededEmilyFits my studio space perfectly. Took off one star because putting in the screws for the center was difficult and affected ability to add those odd deep, place then twist screws. 4

Better directionsCarolA great product of 4th price, but the assembly directions leave a lot to be desired. The glass shelves are great, the brackets not so much.Very difficult to install.4

Besta for living room StephanyThe shelf worked out great for us we had more than enough storage. Loved the color combo. We did have difficulty with the hardware for the doors trying to turn those screws was very hard and it turned into a week project just because of that4

Best ReviewMichaelAssembling the products like all IKEA products take some time. Unfortunately, I was missing the center back panel for the unit. Decided to finish putting the unit together since it was almost complete and did not want to return to the store to get a new boxed item after spending multiple hours putting it together. Looks OK. However, now I need to find a replacement slot for the back panel which the unit should’ve came with as it leaves a big open void in the back center of the unit.3

Sleek-looking and affordable AnnaWe wanted a floating tv console mounted to the wall so that a vent could remain exposed. It was relatively easy to build - if you’ve built IKEA furniture before I’d say it’s not anything super challenging. You just have to pay close attention to the pictures to make sure the wood pieces are the right way, same as any other piece. To mount it, we used wall anchors that could hold up to 100 lbs since the holes ended up not falling on studs. It’s been a few days and it’s holding up just fine. Our tv is also wall mounted so the console is just holding a blu ray player and some knick knacks (I would’nt put a tv on this thing). The style goes right along with our cozy/modern aesthetic. We’re very happy with it!5

Do not wall mountMattDo not wall mount this product! It does not use the rail to mount like other Besta family products. I cannot imagine the logic behind this decision?! Instead it has fixed points that do not align with USA standard 16" o.c. wall stud locations. In other words, you cannot wall mount this product in the USA without ripping out your drywall and installing blocking between studs. There are other Besta products that use the suspension rail to great effect, this is not one of those. Why this product doesn't is beyond my understanding. Better yet, go with the Sektion system which uses a better suspension rail and its connections are actually metal instead of cheap plastic. Sadly I live 4 hours away from Ikea so I'm stuck with this. Don't be me. Buy something else. Or mount it with drywall anchors and then sue Ikea when it inevitably falls and maims someone.1
